I was using a 12V mid-point grounded transformer to convert a 12V-5A source to a 120V-0.5A output to drive an ultrasonic transducer; but seeing as it was wired backwards, the midpoint ground was on the wrong side of the conversion, and this caused a lot of feedback and the wire insulation started to melt and short.

I didn't even realize it until I heard a small buzzing sound and started smelling burnt rubber...

I'm buying a new transformer without a ground this time...

Infowars.com's comment section is fucking terrifying. EVERYONE on there is an extremely anti-government, anti-Obama, batshit insane conspiracy theorist. Allow me to pull some of the more fucked up comments.

Spoiler these guys are fucking insane:
Skulb wrote:If you think this is bad just wait until Israel installs Hitler Clinton in 2016. She`ll make Osama seem like a walk in the park once she gets going with her killing spree.

From Quebec wrote:I believe that the 300 high level military who were fired should organize with the militias and other military personnel who are ready to overthrow this government.
It can be done... it MUST be done. This is your right and duty.

Leslie G wrote:Obama makes Nixon look like a choirboy.

Elmo Fudginpinz wrote:It just doesn't seem to be dawning on Americans, the obvious, that Barak Obama is now clinically insane. He's behaving like a fascist tyrant and we are not a fascist state, we are a Republic. Clearly, Congress needs to invoke the 25th Amendment to the Constitution and remove him from office, for the good of our nation, but also for the good of Barak Obama and his staff.

SallyFields wrote:It is a sad day in America -- when MOST Americans realize, we would be better off with our president dead!

IsRevolutionTheANSWER wrote:Bullets will replace ballots in the near future, revolution is coming there is no doubt about it. Its just a matter of time.

jinxxxxxxx wrote:Just wait if you think it is bad now. Once Ob starts using the dirt the NSA and FBI have on other politicians and then uses the NDAA to make people disappear we will know the Third Reich has risen again.

Frank McCarthy wrote:Obama will be exactly 55 years and 6 months of age at the next presidential inauguration date 20th January in 2017. This equates to 666 months since his date of Birth 4th August 1961....216th date of year 216 = 6x6x6. Obama will be truly full blown SATAN INCARNATE by that time. We are only in the warm up period..........Adolph Hitler on Steroids is just around the corner. Perhaps after his coming assassination attempt. Revelation 13:3

John Gault wrote:They know every word you type on Facebook.

They track over 500,000 objects circling our planet.
Japan has the greatest disaster in Histor,y dumping tons of radiation into the air and water.
And they want us to believe no is taking radiation readings.
I say; BULL SHIT!
They just don't want any one on the West Coast knowing how much deadly radiation they are receiving.

There's more but I don't want to read anymore. These guys legitimately scare me.

How did I go from seeing ads on YouTube for NI products to seeing ads for GirlfriendsTV? I have no interest in following that vlog whatsoever.

Of course nothing will ever beat seeing an ad for Scientology on a video that was speaking out against the church of Scientology.

I just shaved a fairly large portion of my leg because i wanted to see what it felt like.

I totally get why people do it. It feels really nice even though I cut myself about five times (around the ankle mostly) due to lack of experience/care. But yeah it feels really nice. They're a lot smoother and softer (and whiter) than i expected

I might shave my chest. Anyone have any experience with that?

I've had shaved legs for the past few months. You really have to wait a day or two before anything feels right because the skin isn't used to being bare and will get really itchy when stuff touches it. It goes away after a day.

But seriously why is there a stigma against men shaving like who LIKES leg hair???

It's not that I like it, but I don't really mind it being there. Like, whatever, hairy legs.

I just realized that the Sonic Rush Adventure OST contains oldschool Jungle Hardcore.

Honestly the only reason I didn't shave more was because I have a lot of leg hair and it was getting irritating. Plus I need to get new razors and as consequence (and probably lack of experience as well) I accidentally gave myself like five cuts. And yeah my pants felt weird after but I'm getting used to it. Gym class is going to be weird now though, since the class I have this semester actually requires us to change and thus I'll be wearing shorts.

I'm letting my friend give me dreads on Thursday because she really wanted to. It'll be an experience.
