What are you planning to play as? I'm still deciding on either mage or badass brute or maybe stealth! Ahh, so many choices, so little time.

Just depends on if I can make the character look good. But I want a combat centric character, complete with smashing board! If I can't make a Khajjit character look good, I'll go for a Nord.

It's totally cool dude.

You guys remember when Oblivion had the best custom character creator? Looks so bad in comparison now. I was never able to make my character look good, I had to hide that abomination's face under a helmet all the time. xD
Also I'm hoping for actual modeled/textured facial hair, seriously I was disappointed by those shades of grey they called "beards".

Celestial, you lucky man.

Whilst I'm excited for skyrim, it's Guild Wars II that has my juices flowing the most. I CANNOT wait for that game to be released.

It's gotten such high reviews. I've kind of abandoned gaming except some stuff I do with friends but I might have to pick it up. Morrowind and Oblivion were both awesome.

Get it dude, it's basically a cross between Morrowind and Oblivion.

I can't wait to see what the modding community does with this game.

Haha I just picked the default Nord and jumped straight in. Just wanted to play.

So far, I like how the controls remind me more of Morrowind. Now, spells are actually hard to balance whilst swordfighting at the same time. No more of this Oblivion slash, block, quick heal or fireball whilst blocking, then back to swinging. You can't block anymore if you have a spell in one hand and a sword in the other. Yay.

Nice! I made an Argonian and I plan on playing him as an archer/mage. I didn't really follow any screenshots/trailers of the game and I must say I am absolutely astounded at the water effects. I can't believe how nice the rivers look. The game feels so new and yet strangely familiar. The ambiance is even better than Oblivion too.

Heh, I've never played such a stable game from Bethesda on launch day, that's quite amazing. Although the repetitiveness is there, and probably worse in Skyrim. The environments in Cyrodiil changed as you walked around places, even if they all looked the same (slightly). In Skyrim it's basically some snow, some rocks, maybe a waterfall here or there. Plus one you've seen one town, you've seen them all.

Ah well, can't win em all. Still a lovely game. Now for the modding community to really make this shine,

I caved in and bought it...I find it's quite pretty, even on low settings on my computer! (I like no framerate drops at all!)
