On it. A genre based on fusing *core genres in a huge friendly collab, with more than 3 individuals.

On-topic now.
... Dunno :P I think that I've said all I have to say about the current subject.

EDIT - I'm gonna make a thread for that. Friendcore.
Yea. We're gonna work together on a massive Friendcore.

I'm jealous you have new leaf. I want to play the game soooo badly, but I sadly don't have a 3DS.

It's the only game I'd play if I bought a 3DS, so I ask you... Is it still worth it?

I just bought a 3ds used yesterday, solely so that I could play new leaf. Animal crossing was my childhood, so I might be a bit biased, but for me it was definitely worth it. There's also super smash bros and the new pokemon coming out if you need more reasons to buy one.

Anyway, animal crossing is my only 3ds game so far. I'm figuring out how to get my friend code right now, so I'll add that in a bit. My friendcode is 0576-4387-7693, add me, and say that your from here, I need some of dem foreign fruitz.

Wait a bit longer for them to release the KORG M01D on the eShop! I'm super excited for that one.

Fixed, check the first post.

Yeah, animal crossing is def worth it, lots of stuff to do, a little slow moving at first, but after a few days (real actual days) the game picks up. It's just fun playing around in the town, listening to what all the animals have to say, cause sometimes they're pretty funny.

So yeah, i bought the 3DS not just for animal crossing, but also for all the new games that are coming out for it soon, and the new Luigi's mansion, and some other things (SMASH BROS). None of the big box consoles really appealed to me, everything that they offered seems to already be available on my desktop, or even my laptop computer. I like the 3DS because there's backwards compatibility and a whole slew of things that I just didn't see from anyone else at E3, which despite Sony's big win, still turned out to be a sorry state of affairs as a whole. The only reason I would even consider buying a PS4 is Kingdom Hearts 3, and I'm not even going to acknowledge Microsoft's new Orwellian-flavored VCR.

So yeah, what's your guy's take on the whole state of gaming right now? I personally welcome our new PC overlords.

Where I've went from...

SNES > N64 > GBA > PS1 > PS2/GameCube > DS > XBOX 360 > ????

I've been gaming for so long... And I've had the 360 for the last 7 years. I've loved what MS did with the 360, such a great console imo and competed with Sony's PS3 very well.

Now... Wow... XboxOne is done, at least in the perspective of the hardcore gamers. I'm going to PS4, almost no doubt about that. It's a shame, I was really hoping the next gen Xbox would be great, and I'd stick with the side of MS. I'm no fanboy, but I've enjoyed what Xbox 360 has given me that I'd be very reluctant to switch sides, but XboxOne has shown absolutely zero reasons to get it over the PS4 from the gaming side. PS4 just has everything the XboxOne has, but better, and more of it. Really, there is no point in getting XboxOne at this point.

If XboxOne wants any success, they'll have do something drastic, like make a steam-based console, which could be a hit or miss, but at this point, there really is nothing to lose for MS, since they've already lost.

---------------

On the topic of new leaf.. Yeah, my sister has it, but she won't let me play it, and she talks about it ALL THE TIME IN MY FACE, it's painful to hear. Who woulda thunk that the younger sibling would pick on the older one? I'll probably get a 3DS and grab it, and you said there's Luigi's Mansion as well, which I lovedddd to play when I was younger. More incentive to get the 3DS now.

Yeah, if there was one thing I would change about Nintendo, it's their online system. They sorta still haven't figured it out.

Ah gaming, my most major addiction. I can't say it's a bad thing though, but it does get in the way of everything. Though the next gen doesn't look to promising. The Xbone is most likely a failure with the gaming crowd that will still succeed due to the majority of people who just get it because it's an Xbox. The PS4 looks like the winner of the this gen so far, but is lacking interesting exclusives and Nintendo is Nintendo.

As for my 3DS/DS collection:

Luigi's Mansion
Fire Emblem: Awakening
Etrain Odyssey 4 (Really good underrated game if you like hardcore turn based RPG's)
Kid Icarus: Uprising (Completely unplayable without the Circle Pad Pro if you're left handed. Probably going to trade this in when I eventually get Animal Crossing: New Leaf.)
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask (Like Puzzles? Get this game)
Elite Beat Agents (For $3, why not?)
A bunch of other bad DS Game
Various E-Shop Games

Really good console, though I really wish I could've picked up Animal Crossing, it looked fun, but I really don't know if it would be worth it for $40 bucks considering I've never played an Animal Crossing game before.

It's especially worth it if you've never played Animal Crossing since not too much has changed from the last one.

But it's still got enough new to justify it.

I'm left handed. Controlling Pit with the AXYB buttons is painful, controlling the aiming cursor with the same buttons is also incredibly difficult. I should've edited that anyway, as I was too brief.
