I just got finished listening to/downloading this. The whole thing was beautiful and, imo, deserved so much more than third spot on a random music post.

I'm going on vacation to Montreal very soon! I'll be gone for about a week, and I'll be going right back to various musical commissions (some of which have come from this very forum - thank you for that!).

I'll be performing in some delightfully bizarre events whose photos will likely not be suited for all ages, and otherwise socializing, gallivanting, and mingling like a motherbucker. See you all when I return!

That sounds fun. I've wanted to do a collab with someone at some point, if anyone would even be willing to take part, but I probably need more experience by myself first. Or at least some knowledge concerning how collabs typically work.

I'm also going on vacation this next weekend, which is good news of course, but also it's a little disappointing because I will not be able to participate in most of the Remix War sync listen on Saturday. I'll have limited internet access, but not much.

I may have an opportunity in a few days to play at a club down here in the Bahamas. So far I've got:

Yolanda Be Cool and DCup - We No Speak Americano
- Mixed with Art Attack and Silva Hound's "How Far We've Come"

Alex S. and Pinkie Pie Sweat - Disco Lights

So far the mix sounds pretty good. This will be the first opportunity to do some DJing type stuff, but it's at a small hangout on a military base with coworkers and a few locals, so there's less pressure.

Everybody I've shown the mix to so far thinks it sounds pretty good, including one of the locals, who told me he might be able to get me hooked up this Monday to play for 30min-1hr.

Also, good news from me!

- Most people didn't like my Remix War entry! -Oh wait that's bad news-
- I'm currently focusing even more intently on learning music theory and other bits of knowledge as a result of the negative comments my entry endured. I hope to improve the quality of what I send out. -That's the good news I was going for-
- The aforementioned life-size Rainbow Dash is coming along well, it's only a partial structure right now, but it's standing up by itself nicely and everything is working according to plan.
- I haven't died in the onslaught of severe weather that has been pummeling my neighborhood recently. No seriously, calm down pegasi, we've had enough rain and tornadoes thank you. And yes, the neigh pun was necessary.
- We're finally getting a full Season 1 DVD of Friendship is Magic. This gives me the happy.

Also, I'm getting my old music laptop back, like, tomorrow (if my brother's new laptop is getting shipped in time for his birthday tomorrow).
