Show us your workshop/studio!

Sports, politics, movies, videogames, questionable hobbies, photos from your family vacation, etc. Talk about stuff that isn't ponies or music. But do try to stay on topic and respectful of alternate opinions.

Seriously though, that probably isn't safe. Not only is there the possibility of you spilling it, but the evaporation would make everything humid and it would get in your stuff. That could cause electrical issues and just make everything kinda sticky.

What I do is I get a 2 liter bottle of sparkling water, and some of that "Mio" stuff, and make cheap bootleg "soda." It doesn't have anything unhealthy in it so it's basically still water.

Just get a bottle or something...

Ya know eery, all of us cant afford to quote fight club whenever something brakes. If you wanna risk buying a new computer cause of some short circuit (or in the worst case be electrocuted, unlikely, but possible) instead of not putting your water around electronics, that's your choice.

Though I doubt you have to worry about the water evaporating and getting into equipment. Your breath is more likely to be the problem if its to humid. Maybe it's a problem in Indiana where nOK is, I don't know how hot it is there, but in Norway it's probably not gonna get warm enough for the water to evaporate at any significant rate. (At least not if you have any kind of ventilation for the room)
Still, if your worried you could allways get a bottle (and fill it with tapwater)

I made a hutch. Everything fits so perfect now omg. Also I now will have room for smaller controllers when I have more money (and a much better DAW). That desktop PC to the lower left isn't hooked up to anything. I'm currently "building" it for my little bro to play Minecraft on.

On the left: a file soon-to-be filled with CDs with muziks in various genres for DJ'ing, under it (unvisible) lies a little CD-holder with some boot discs for Windows (including but not limited to BackTrack 3-5, Ophcrack, Windows 64 and Mac OSX 10.7), and on top of it a holder containing 100/3*2 empty DVDs.

Left of laptop: broken iPhone, shit, lame headphones dad bought for my last b-day (low budget Sennheiser, on-ear damnit), external HDD ( <3 ) lying on Mosaic puzzle book, JBL speakers.

Behind my laptop (unvisible): less than 100 empty CDs, two pairs of earbuds.

Right: desk chair, epic mouse that everybody hates, magazines with shit (DJ gear isn't shit) I wanna buy.

This isn't my desk. It's my dad's :P my room is cold, that's why.
I do got a fancy, better(-looking) JBL speaker in my room, but it takes too long to get it downstairs and dad won't let me use it cuz he wants something he calls 'peace'.

Hmmm... A gigant space station you say?
How about one of the boxes underneath RD, behind the sketchbook? Looks like about the right size.

Nice Posters and stuff

Indeed! Funny story about that, it's the second one I purchased. The first time I accidentaly typed my address wrong and sent it to a cranky lady down the street. :x

I don't watch him too frequently anymore either, but he still makes me smile when I do watch.

lol, I just googled the stapler reference you made and enjoyed myself thoroughly. I haven't seen the movie but I certainly need to.

Nope! It is an ornament about the size of a grapefruit, it is half exposed in the image. Also, you can't see them, but the station hosts Voyager, the Defiant, and the Enterprise! Makes my little Trekkie heart exuberant.

I never did get frames, bit too cheap for that! haha.
Plus, I already had to put out for frames for a buck-ton of pony-paintings I purchased at a con last year. X_X
