So you work at a studio? because that's a studio control room

It is indeed a studio control room! And yes, this is the place a huge amount of my work gets done, although I don't work here, this is one of the four studios I have unlimited access to at college. : D

Lucky bugger... I do work at a studio but it's a recording studio so never get to use it for my own stuff

The Kunst Media & Technologie faculty of Utrecht School of the Arts in Netherlands also has a few awesome mixing/mastering and production studios, but this is currently my home studio in my student dorm. XD

I like to work in corners.

Feels a lot more comfortable for my mildly agoraphobic ass.

My desk right now is in the center of one of the walls, but it feels like I'm wasting so much space since I have a electric piano on my left, so basically that entire half of the room is useless. If I was in a corner it would be so much easier but then mixing would suck and asdkl;gadl I just don't know what to do.

So thanks Fluttershy, ever since then I can't go a day without this playing back in my head lol.

Anywho, I got some new stuff. For my DJ stuff:
Traktor Kontrol X1 (for effects yay) and a DJ-Tech DJM-303 mixer (aka a fake-me-out Pioneer DJM 400).

For studio:
Two KRK Rokit 5s (one black and the other a limited edition white) with monitor stands of course
Focusrite Scarlett 2i 2 audio interface
Sterling condenser microphone for dramatic readings/VAs and for vocalists (as I meet them) and mic stand/pop filter because of course
KRK....forgot the full name 10" studio subwoofer. EFF YEAH SON!!! although it's a double-edge sword
KRK Studio headphones (I'm noticing how much I needed these listening to my old songs)

For my live stuff:
Used Marshall MG 30 DFX although the digital FX doesn't work so.....a MG30 >_>
acoustic B15 Bass amp

Moral support:
Vinyl Scratch plushie and Princess Luna

It's still clogged up cause my room is my studio but everything's nice and clean and not dusty. If we can sell this house, mother agreed to give me my own room for my studio. Now brings the question should I build a computer specifically for music...anyway whatever how the heck are you all?!
