It's a shame this thread is only about half the size of the venting one.

Anyway, my life as a whole has been really looking up lately; I'm getting straight As (and therefore am on honor roll), my acne's pretty much cleared up, classes are fun, been hanging out with friends a lot recently, my creative side's returned, I'm forging some solid friendships with some girls (I'm the rare type of guy who prefers friendship over romance), I made some good money recently, my dad is finally getting back on his feet, my little brother is finally starting to talk (he's almost 5 so that's a big deal), and I've just been all around feeling great! Of course, this is all just gonna make it even worse when I inevitably crash and burn, but let's stay positive for the while :)

Postby Mr. Bigglesworth » 23 Apr 2013 18:57

I've recently stopped with some things in music that have been annoying me to no end.
firstly, Remixes. I've tried doing them, the rate it drains my creativity at literally makes me sad. So I've decided to completely cut them out of my production life. Second, Rainbow and Rooted. I've been stressing too much over that, the standards are way above my level and trying to be at that level without the experience behind it got me a mess of a track that sounds like a compressed and detuned chainsaw that is murdering a drum machine. Since it's not imperative that I make R&R, I've just scrapped it entirely and resolved to try for next time.

I'm still doing Seeds of Kindness though. I'm happy with what I'm doing for that :3

Also, I've booked to go to an open day with the university I wanna go to :D

That's cute :3 I feel like her mane is not fluffy enough. I've made some smaller plushies and maybe this weekend I'll start a huge Fluttershy one (I have like 2 yds of yellow to get rid of)
But seriously the plushie business is huge on Ebay. I've seen some really bad plushies go for over $50 and the good ones are always between $200 and $1000. It's huge I tell ya. Maybe this summer I'll start selling plushes

I've always wanted to get a plushie but
1. I don't have a few hundred dollars for a good one and
2. I don't want to explain to my parents why their 16 year old straight catholic son is getting a plushie of a pastel colored pony.

Classes are over, exams don't start for another couple of weeks, I have a job lined up for me at the embassy and my date didn't end in disaster or death (though we did run into the only teacher we had in common. That was was weird.)

I KNOW RIGHT?! I'm gonna buy an iPhone 4 case fairly soon (of course it's with Vinyl Scratch on it), and I really don't want my dad breathing in my neck with all kinds of awkward questions and with that extremely annoying grin on his face. He knows I hate it, but he doesn't give a fuck.

Good news everyone. I got some inspiration again (I'm busy on Hands Up atm), I got my first request for being someone's tutor, and I'm feeling all-over happy (which hadn't occurred for a week). Oh and I've stayed off my Speedcore for over one day :D

1. I went running today. Exercise is good. I'm gonna try to get to where I can run every day, and it'll get easier every time :3
2. Even though I'm drowning in stress because of school stuff, it'll all be done in about 2 weeks, and the school year ends soon after. I'm excited.
3. Not confirmed yet, but i'm planning to go to Washington state this simmer, see all my friends, and go to Everfree NW, which i'm excited for even if I haven't had much time for pony fandom stuff recently.
My goal is to be capable of making any kind of music that strikes my fancy, and do it well.

I'd probably fare better in the customization route than plushies, but I am an enthusiast (Meaning I know what I like and I am aware of the materials/methods used in a plush). Fluttershy is great, and I'm not quite sure what you mean by not fluffy enough, but I'll say this: Pics do not do her justice, she is much bigger than I imagined (I should have put a normal pony to scale), but I digress. Good luck on yours!

On my end, I'll soon be free from school for the next month or so until summer semester (Self imposed). That said, I have to finish some graphics for Mush and Viricide Filly. On another note, I broke down and let all of the stress out, and though I should probably put that in the Hugging Thread, I felt good after that, like a huge burden is taken off of me.

Like her hair it's usually bouncy or something it has more volume
But other than that it's a pretty well executed plushie. Do ya mind me asking how much she sold for?:3

Probably just the angle I chose for the pic.

Anyway, she cost around $75 bones ($60, plus $15 shipping), but the seller said she usually does them for more money, but this was the first of its kind (She normally does 12 in. ponies and she's been wanting to do a bigger, non-princess pony and I offered to be a guinea pig).

I went to see Othello in Singapore on Friday night, there I roomed with another brony. Despite us managing to oversleep twice on a one night trip we still managed to make it on time to everything and stuff. The play was pretty cool.
