The basses must be resampled appliances.

Well this totally happened while I was gone.
Maybe I'll post some blueprints because we're remodelling our kitchen even.

I'm fine with leaving this thread open because you're mostly staying on topic and discussing kitchens. Don't really know why, but please keep all kitchen discussion to this thread, and this thread only.

I think that kitchen was posted already...

Also, our dishwasher broke yesterday. The door swung open too hard and snapped the spring; so now when we open it we have to put a step stool under it to keep if from falling off.

Aw, that sucks. I just got my dishwasher repaired, so now it finally works after about 3 years of having to hand-wash dishes.

Mine is a B&Q kitchen, complete with a German-quality AEG oven, hob, Samsung American fridge-freezer, a powerful 850W microwave combi oven, an integrated dishwasher, and a nice black work surface.

So what appliances has anypony got? If General Electric Trivection, I am jelly, because we can't get these awesome ovens over here!

I have the best microwave oven grill machine ever.
It stops heating at random, after the oven's finished the heating continues for 5 minutes (if it's closed), it doesn't rotate it's insides (anymore), and the timer sometimes just gets stuck at random.

until screwing the dishwasher back into the wall in my kitchen last week, had to use a stool under the door to keep the dishwasher from losing balance and falling over on its side.

Ours leaked everywhere and swelled up the wood under the granite causing it to crack which is why we needed new granite :/

When I lived in France the kitchen was communal and a little way from my room, so I often did my dishes in the little washbasin in the corner of my bedroom instead. One day in my first month I had a jar of Nutella (well, Super U economy chocolate spread, to be accurate) that I'd finished with. I decided to rinse it out to use it as a pen holder. Unfortunately, the sink wasn't designed to cope with food waste, so the u-bend got blocked with brown, chocolatey gunk. That would've been okay, except that in a fit of nerves, I forgot a lot of my French vocab. Including the words for "sink" and "blocked". Which is why one of the accomodation receptionist's first memories of me was my coming up to her and saying, "the thing that one washes plates in, in my room, it doesn't work anymore. There is water in it and it won't go away."
Good times.
