My first Pony-release was a collab of my friend's rough drafts in FL Studio - Ernula X Cuilan. Mostly fast-paced undeveloped drum + synth patterns. I knew he was an enthusiastic brony so I went looking for samples that i could use, i came across some digitally created foul mouthed pony clips on youtube that i used as vocal samples with it and put forth a short ep of 4 tracks that basically show MLP through a rule 34 devolution. I think its hysterical and still like it a lot but it might come up a little short music wise (going back and trying to find clips to sync was also a bit rushed, sigh) and a little crude. But I got it out in October 2012.
Dj Pon-3 - Pony Like You're Hardcore. After getting into the show and liking it a LOT I wanted to check out more pony music and decided that I try to create a comprehensive dj mix of the scene, something you could give to a mlp fans but mlp music newbs and give them a cool range of the best of this great music and highlights. That i did under Dj Pon-3 (Vinyl Scratch to the other half of the MLP community) and 1 disc quickly turned into 2 discs and 2+ hours. It's something I'd like to follow up with in the future with a little more community help as there's load of music and smaller pony artists that could really use more exposure. I think the mixes sound good and cram some great music on there w/o sounding rushed and with smooth transitions.

I'm going to put all my collaborations in this particular post as I've done quite a few. I made a list of what and where all the tracks that made my collaboration comp came from. Short answer is they're friends or aquaintances of mine and I either remixed 1 or a full release from each (and put my fav track on) Release Party (Remix Compilation) You can check it out here and the youtube playlist is here.
Here's a few vids from that comp
if you like anything off it there may be a whole ep as well. I love collaborating and I'm clearly on the right site for that.

I guess I'll just put a few of my recent mixtapes in here. I've been dj'ing over a decade off and on and while its been a bit of a gap since I've mixed in a club so I put forth a couple of mixes that were themed and different styles of mixing as they were more than just putting track together.
One was Popcore which was Pop music chipmunked and with drum & bass and rave samples added to become modern Happy Hardcore and mixed at breakneck speed. I must say I loved this project despite the cheesy origins. It's on youtube in its entirety.
before that i went the opposite route and did a chopped & screwed mixtape of purple sound dubstep called The Colour Purple. As some people said its a little TOO long + slow paced but it did what I was looking to do (mixing pitched down and chopped dubstep). If you like Dj Screw I think you'll think it's cool.
And I did Haunted House for Halloween which is an hour long sound collage of as scary music as i could find just blendered into a chaotic 80 track sourced maze.
Got some older mixes besides those offline (electronic and new wave) although likely not a lot of interest.

I'll throw a few of my electronic releases on here as they're the most relevant to the board.
You Are Not the Dance Commander, You Know Nothing of My Work is probably my most popular release. I made it before I got into Reaper and FL Studios and made it simply with free low-tech tenori style apps (on ipod and the web) and then with effects for my Simple Machines Album and later I wanted to add some loops and make it EDM (electronic dance music). While its low tech I think they came out well and its a fun listen. Some nice vids too
I made Sampling the Samplers a little while after which is also one of my favorites and best received. I wanted to reflect on golden age hip-hop and my love of it during the era when they sampled freely and creativity was at its best. As they sampled freely in their tracks i wanted to reinterpret their work and in drum & bass form and using bits of their work to re-interpret their songs. kind of a remix of a remix really with theoriginal samples there, the hip-hop interpretation, and then my own drum & bass sampling of it. I was really happy how it came out.
Fallout I made a little while before that and it's also loop based and channels old skool breakbeat hardcore and was made a week or so after the Japan Earthquake and the nuclear meltdown. I sampled the news incoming from CNN and MSNBC from the initial event to afterwards and the track list reflects seeing a disaster through an American POV and the understandable hysteria of the issue. I got rather upset on how the news fell off the radar shortly after and this kind of snapshots that whole event. I liked it a lot some people said it was too samey.
Drum School was a breakcore ep that sampled drum instructional videos and really just was a document on my own learning of FL Studios and using chaotic drum patterns. Was a fun release.
Stuck in a Groove is a noise release mixed with dance loops and a little bit of political themed as well (the Republican nomination looks like a farce basically). Its pretty brutal and that's intended.
Finally Synths at Midnight is mainly just midi keyboard jams done late at night and mostly mellower New Age/Progressive Electronic but was received well. Am happy with it after some trepedation of whether people would like it.
Alright other then that my more experimental stuff is available on my lists and blogs. I'm just as happy with doing that (experimental, drone, ambient, microsound, strange plunderphonics). I'll stop spamming my thread now though as I've done enough. Hopefully I've paved a way through the chaos that was 2011 for anyone willing to check it out.
