Genres you'd LOVE to see some Brony music made in

We all love it, otherwise it's unlikely you'd be here. Talk about the show and the fanbase surrounding it. Brony music discussions encouraged.

I know a lot of people say that it's too difficult, but I beg to differ.

There. Proof that it can be done. I didn't even use Massive. Go forth and make Transformers mating calls in your DAWs. This community needs more of it.

Wouldn't transformer sex sound more like this?

Merzbow can be compared to many things, and this is one of them.

That makes me curious. Are there any bronies who produce pure noise with little or no musical inclinations? I actually thought that sounded cool.

Noise is what I've focused on for the majority of the time I've been making music. I was less centered on the artistic side of it that most people think of with noise, and just tried to make the harshest, most painful stuff. For some reason painful noises feel good in my ears. Probably the same reason I love ridiculously hard, unpleasant video games that make me rage (which isn't that easy).

Guys, um...

SUPERSAW HOOVER much?

Anywhey, I think we need more... err THIS kind of dubstep, whatever it is:

Ok fine, it's euphoric dubstep, but I haven't seen any in the fandom yet. Or at least, I can't remember any songs I've heard. Here's another example:

140 bpm, half time, heavy focus on bass...

Sounds like dubstep to me. What is it then?

It doesn't have any focus on bass. And it doesn't have that garage-y beat that characterizes dubstep. It's more of a brostep drum pattern put on top of a pop song.

I can see why someone wouldn't like all his songs, they're quite varied in style, but I'm kinda one of those guys who like most music, as long as it's well made :3

The Mortar remix is much better than the original.

Yes, big band is a must. I actually had an idea of a Find a Pet cover in a big band style (Think Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack)

Yeah- I have some big band vinyl records, and I've listened to a lot of big band as the music for stuff like the Goon Show (also, it turns up in old cartoons!)
I'd love to hear either real, or convincingly simulated, big band :)

I haven't seen any epic power metal yet, so I'd love to see that.

If I could find a good enough singer it's one of the genres I'd LOVE to do.

This. I'm actually working on some power metal now, but I don't know what I'm going to do with it because I'm certainly not good enough to sing on something like that.

Clearly you must recruit someone to do the vocals for you.
