System Specs anyone?

Post Midis, project files, samples, stems, here. Also great place to request collaboration or specific files/sounds.

EDIT:
After thinking about - sod it, I'll probably end up getting a PC anyways. My friends have sworn by them. I shall start looking it them properly when I get the time

Don't touch that dial!

This baby is perfect for light to medium gaming and should have no trouble with music production.

But really, only get a laptop if you need a portable computer. And even then, a high-performance laptop is going to be a pain to carry around.

Don't touch that laptop!

This baby is perfect for great to max gaming and will have no trouble with music production.

Pros:
-Graphics card is better
-CPU is better
-harddrive is better
-has an aftermarket CPU cooler, it will have a longer life span
-you can use the monitor you're using right now (if you have a spare computer monitor, keyboard and mouse laying around), and if you don't have one then you can still get a monitor keyboard and mouse without being more expensive than the laptop when it's not on sale.

Cons:
-isn't portable

Thanks man :3
I've actually been doing some looking into it, and the build you've shown blows mine away for about £300 cheaper :3

Thanks, although since I used the american version of the site and you used the british, some of the items didn't transfer over because some countries don't sell some products. This is the British version of the build I linked you too, with some changes to parts, but they're just as good and in some cases better.

HP Pavilion a6218x
Intel Pentium Dual Core 1.6 GHz
2GB RAM (667MHz iirc)
320 GB HDD
EVGA GTX 560 2GB

Overkill graphics card, mainly because that's the only thing I can really upgrade on this motherboard lol. Gonna build a new one once I get enough money.
