ParTAY! Remix Stems [CONTEST CLOSED]

I might do this... I've just never liked remixing drum and bass songs because I would have to change the tempo, and therefore stretch the stem samples to a point where they sound bad.

Fuck sake, now my remix of this sounds almost too different to the original >.< Might do a few takes with different genres and pick the best one.

First time doing a remix while actually USING the stems that aren't just vocals, turning out pretty good for my first complextro song, considering I'm crap at sound design this will be interesting to see how this turns out... Leaving my comfort level and all...

Duude, this is actually really good so far! Quick note, you should probably fatten up your bassline somehow, it feels a bit thin. Increase the stereo image a smidgen? Use more voices? FAUSAGE SATTENER?!?! It's up to you.

You're definitely right, I'm was planning on frequency split it and add over that, but I went lazy mode and exported instead.

Sounds good, though I think that the intro kick is clipping (sounds like it's getting distorted at least)

I've never really done DnB tempo'ish tracks so any posdible fulltime part is feeling weird to meh (I'LL STILL DO IT BECAUSE I WANNA LEARN)...

Dropping out. I was so motivated, but I am not satisfied at all with my piece, my true envisioned idea didn't come to light, and I feel it's not good enough. I wish I could say otherwise but my lack of Sound Design clearly shows in this project, I will finish it, just not within the deadline.

Thanks for the chance at remixing it, I will finish it regardless, however, I am going to learn proper Sound Design before I do.
