Fluttershy "Yay" pitch?

Postby ArtAttack » 07 Jul 2011 06:19

Don't know if this is the right place to ask this, but what is the original pitch of Fluttershy's "yay"? For piano roll purposes.

You use FL studio right?
Try Fruity granulizer, unlike the sampler that one actually seems to put the sample at the right pitch without a ton of work manipulating the audio (sorry if this is unrelated but I'm assuming you're trying to do something like avast fluttershy's @$$).

Roughly Eb, if I remember properly. YMMV, however. The pitch isn't super strict.

What are you trying to do, brony?

Yeah, DH has got it right, just adding some pony melody to some non-pony songs XD I'll just have to mess around with it, but thanks for the tip on Granulizer.

The first one is a sharp Eb, the second one peaks around F, the third peaks around around F#, and the last one is a flat F#.

But like DerpyGrooves said, YMMV.

The problem with Granulizer is that it doesn't change it to the correct pitch.(not quite sure if you actually need the correct pitch for what you are doing, but it is a useful tool to know about)

If you can't detect the pitch yourself, load the sample in Edison in Fl Studio and click Regions, then click Detect Pitch Regions it will show the pitch. Then all you have to do is click on the wav file itself and right click on the piano what note it is, in its properties.
